MESSAGE FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR
Flat product sheet industry, one of the most important materials for construction sector and also essential for profile and accessories production by UMS's Steel Service Center, is among the rapidly changing industries due to the effect of global trends.
Global trends, from time to time, adversely affect sales and pricing policies of entities within the industry, thereby leading to price-indexed results instead of quality-indexed ones in provision of products/services. Such consequences bring along an understanding which gives prominence to price but not to quality and cause adverse effects.
Despite all these adverse effects, UMS keeps up-to-date with its counters equipped with cutting-edge technology in production lines and continues its technological investment processes. Based on its management approach aware of importance of digitalization and high technology in a developing and transforming industrial sector and its effect on efficiency and satisfaction of customers' expectations, UMS carries on its systemic transformation by meeting requirements of the standards.

UMS, performing its domestic sales and marketing operations with its TSI certified products, also produces products that are in compliance with European standards and provides products/services for many countries in Asia, Africa and Europe within the scope of its export operations which have been growing in importance in recent years.
